     n. Pouting.] [OE. pouten, of uncertain origin; cf. Prov.
     pot lip, Prov. F. potte, faire la potte to pout, W. pwdu to
     pout, be sullen, poten, potten, a paunch, belly.]
     1. To thrust out the lips, as in sullenness or displeasure;
        hence, to look sullen.
