Namaycush \Nam"ay*cush\, n. [Indian name.] (Zool.)
A large North American lake trout ({Salvelinus namaycush).
It is usually spotted with red, and sometimes weighs over
forty pounds. Called also Mackinaw trout, lake trout,
lake salmon, salmon trout, togue, and tuladi.
